 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actor when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year and earned a GED. Then she was able to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
